The original painting is admired for its extraordinary depiction of daily life — bustling streets, flowing waterways, merchants, travellers, families and communities all sharing the same landscape. We drew inspiration from that sense of movement and togetherness to create a mat that feels rich in story, yet refined enough for the modern table.
